first lou and i, lou, are apart for this weekend. He is staying with patsy schiff aka. the patoots, in wilmette il. lou kicks it in my room, because he and

donald pinkus the sock,
and danny mason the shoe,

dont get along. The last time lou stayed there and I let him out to have the run of the house, he just posted up outside the room where the ke-ke-keeities were, just incase they got out and they had to throw down to the cute furry death, like so:

mortal combat!

second, check out mine and lou's new frannkenstein's monster-esque headless file server.

It's a conglomeration of neglected computers, pieces of computers, and a veritable smorgasbord of 2 external hard drives.

It runs through matt's old laptop which has a broken screen, which is fine cause we just run it in

clamshell mode!

Then via computer magic, 1.25 TB (which stands for 'terabytes', which in turn stands for 'thats a trillion gosh darn bytes which is a lot, what an age we live in...) of music and movies and pictures
and every game ever made for DOS including:

'mario teaches typing'

and 'putt-putt and fatty bear's activity pack')

and good stuff like that, is served al-a-carte to me and lou and our computers. It's also available to the dear readers if they do the torrent dance like me and lou and our computers.

whats the point of having more random unnecessary files than you could ever in a million years consume with your eyes and ears, if they can't be served up fresh to you wirelessly at a respectable 108 Mbps.

a rare thirdly(!) my very dear readers, this is the hit counter you all know and love at 4:46PM on thursday 3/25/10:

ok, 971 is first of all a prime number, which is dope, and second of all it's very close to being 4 gosh darn digits long. which means that this very post may be the one read by the 1000th reader. GO CHECK! but then come back.

If you're #1000 then you are one order of magnitude better than everyone who has come before to read about lou the cat. Let me know, maybe take a screen shot to show the world, and you can be featured in next weeks blizzle. far out right? I hope it's me.

Best of luck to you team,
(there are actually three more primes between this and 1000 so check yourselves)
best,
just one lou
